Belgium Visa Information

BELGIUM TOURIST VISA

Required documents :
     1. National passport with validity of at least 3 months after the end of the planned journer (+ 1 copy of the identity page).
     2. Completed and signed application form.
     3. 1 recent photograph (5x3cm) with white background.      4. Full detailed itinerary.
     5. Copy of Hotel reservation for the total duration of the stay in Belgium and in other countries in Schengen.
     6. Letter of employer or school, stating the number of vacation days he/she can take or an inscription in the commerce register or as a partner in a company.
     7. Proof of sufficient personal financial means with Bankbook or bank statement (+ 1 copy).
     8. Copy of travel insurance, coverage minimum 30,000 Euro or equivalent amount in Baht.
     9. Copy of confirmed ticket reservation.
     10. Proof of appointment.

Remarks :
     1. Applications who have another nationality than that Thai may be required to submit additional documents, valid until at least three months after the end of the planned journey:
         a. Thai work permit (+ 1 copy).
         b. Permit of residence or “non-immigrant” visa (+ 1 copy).
         c. Re-entry visa for Thailand (+ 1 copy).
         d. Certificate of Aliens, if applicable (+ 1 copy).
     2. Minors (who have not reached the age of 18 years), are required to submit additional documents:
         a. Birth certificate (+ 1 copy).
         b. Consent of both parents, issued by City Hall.
     3. Additional documents, even if not featured in the list above, may be required by the Embassy.
     4. The Applicant should submit the application by him/herself. The visa section is open every weekday. No visa amount will be returned; even if the visa is subsequently refused (All short stay visas will cost the equivalent in Baht of 60 Euro, irrespective of the number of entries requested).
     5. A later change to the purpose of the visit is not admissible. A prolongation of the visa is not possible. In both cases, a new application has to be entered.

BUSINESS VISA

Required documents :
     1. National passport with validity of at least 3 months after the end of the planned journer (+ 1 copy of the identity page).
     2. Completed and signed application form.
     3. 1 recent photograph (5x3cm) with white background.
     4. Invitation letter from the Belgian Company stating the exact purpose of the visit.
     5. Hotel reservation for the total duration of the stay in Belgium .
     6. Confirmation letter of the company in Thailand explaining the purpose and duration of the journey and the guarantee to cover all costs that may arise during the stay in Belgium.
     8. Travel insurance, coverage minimum 30,000 Euro or equivalent amount in Baht (+ 1 copy).
     9. Confirmed ticket reservation (+ copy).
